Upload data from the insulin pump, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) device, or BG meter to CareLink™ Personal software. Uploaded data is used to generate reports and can be shared with a healthcare professional. The healthcare professional may recommend how often to upload data from the device.

There are two advantages to frequent uploads:

• It takes less time for each upload to be completed because less data is being copied.
• Since devices are limited on the amount of data they can store, frequent uploads can avoid gaps in data.
