To upload a meter that has a USB connector on a Mac™* computer, no additional set up is needed. For other meters, supported connectors are needed.

Note: Medtronic Diabetes cannot guarantee the availability of cables, adapters, and software drivers from other manufacturers. Websites of other manufacturers may change.

To obtain supported connectors for Mac™* computers:

1. Get a serial cable from the BG meter manufacturer.
2. Get a USB-to-serial adapter that is compatible with the Mac™* operating system, such as the USBGEAR RS-232 Serial Adapter DB-9 Male.
    
   Refer to the manufacturer instructions to install the driver.
